The program's goal is for high school and college students to work with Alameda County ITD during their summer break, learning about technology and the County. Each student works with various teams in the department and collaborates with their peers to develop an app or contribute to a project that benefits the County.</p><p style="text-align: start">They gain experience in project management, build on their team skills, learn how to develop software through its entire life cycle, and present their deliverables at the end of the eight-week program.
